Yesterday I sat,
in the middle of the empty hall,
four walls listening to voices within,
a mess that I didn’t care one bit,
a place for things I threw around,
like backpacks and dirty shoes,
a pit-stop between better things,
I was here only for the night.
Things have changed and how,
these four walls are still here with me,
I speak and they speak back to me,
a place for all my secrets,
a place that’s become school to me,
teaching me something new!
A place that I call my own,
it’s my Savior and maybe more!
Home sweet home, now safe and sound!
Author’s Note:
A list of all the things that home meant, once upon a time, to what it means now. It’s Lock-down day #37 for me. Home sweet home, safe and sound indeed!

Very true. This is the case with everybody these days. It’s ironic how we start to appreciate what we have only in adverse times.

Home has become very dear to us indeed. It’s been a month and a week. I wonder when this ordeal would end.
